HOW IT STARTED
Sizzling Bites has grown from its first location in Bethlehem into a growing restaurant brand, with each new opening marking another step forward.
The recent opening of Sizzling Bites Scranton in February 2026 reflects that momentum, with Sizzling Bites State College expected to open in April 2026.
Looking ahead, the brand expects to continue growing, with the goal of reaching 10 locations by 2026 while maintaining the quality, consistency, and customer experience that define Sizzling Bites
The Man Behind The Brand - Abdul S. Wali
Before Sizzling Bites began, Abdul S. Wali and his uncle opened Flaming Hot in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Their commitment and hard work helped make it one of the city’s top-rated spots. That success inspired the launch of Sizzling Bites in Bethlehem and helped build a restaurant brand that now operates four locations with a focus on quality and consistency

From the very beginning, my dream was to open a restaurant not just to serve food, but to serve people. My love for the restaurant business has always been about more than cooking—it’s about creating a warm, welcoming space where families, friends, and neighbors can gather and feel at home. Sizzling Bites was born from that passion, a reflection of my dedication to sharing flavors, building community, and serving with genuine love for people and the craft of hospitality.
